Finding outfits for your boudoir shoot is such a wonderful experience. You get to browse for fun lingerie, jewelry, shoes, and costumes, all while treating yourself to some pieces that you may not normally purchase. After years of working in the industry, I kind of consider myself to be a boudoir shopping aficionado (you should see how many items are in my cart right now). I’ve searched high and low for all the best spots, and to make it easier for you, I’ve created a list of some of my favorite places where you can find clothing for your boudoir shoot.
From local shops to Amazon and more – here are some of my recommendations:
First things first, always shop local whenever possible. These places are part of our communities, and it’s important to help give them business. Some of my favorite boudoir outfits I’ve gotten over the years have been from local shops, and you’ll come to find that they have some unique pieces that you simply can’t find online.
It’s no secret that Amazon sells basically everything under the sun. And after searching the site, I’ve come to find that they have some fantastic pieces you can use for your boudoir shoot. One thing I love about browsing Amazon for outfits is that they have something for everyone. No matter what type of look and style you’re going for, you will find it here.
To help get you started, I created an Amazon Shopping List of boudoir pieces that I hope you love as much as I do.
Another place to find some items for your boudoir photoshoot is Shein. Something that I love about Shein is that they have a wide variety of styles and sizes, and on top of that, their clothing is affordable. Shein has some cute lingerie, a variety of fun accessories, shoes, and basically everything you’ll need to complete your final look.
If you’ve looked everywhere for pieces for your shoot and just can’t seem to find anything you like, I suggest taking your search to Etsy. People design and sell some truly amazing pieces of clothing and accessories on Etsy, many of which aren’t sold in stores. Etsy is the place to go if you want something unique and one of a kind for your photoshoot.
If you’ve searched near and far for outfits for your boudoir photoshoot and just can’t seem to find anything that fits your style, I’ve got your back! When you arrive at your shoot, we can go into the client closet and pull some pieces for you to use. No matter if you’re going for a look that’s light and airy, one that’s a little edgier, or something in between – I promise that we’ll put together a look that you’ll love.
Upon booking your boudoir photoshoot, you’ll receive our planning guide magazine. Here, we list links to all our favorite online shops and break them down into categories based on style and budget.
I hope this post helps your figure out and find clothing for your boudoir shoot. If you have questions about our boudoir sessions or are interested in scheduling your own photoshoot, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I can’t wait to connect with you, queen!
