I’m the lead photographer and positive vibes guru of The Brava Studio. I’m obsessed with helping women own and reclaim their most passionate, powerful self. Sessions with me are light heartened, fun, and full of laughter. I’m excited to get to know you!
Feeling a little unsure of what to expect during your first boudoir shoot is completely normal. All my first time clients have been there, and believe me when I say…I totally understand how you feel! To help you feel more prepared, I wanted to throw together this guide so that you know exactly what to expect when booking your boudoir shoot with Brava Boudoir.
Whether you’re a first-timer and want to know what goes on at a boudoir shoot, or if you’re one of my glorious repeat offenders ready to test out the different sets our studio offers – I have answers! Schedule a consult with me and get all of your questions answered. I am happy to help clear up any questions that you may have and look forward to telling you all about why I LOVE boudoir photoshoots.
After all your questions have been answered, it’s time to book your photoshoot – yay! Our studio is open for photoshoots Tuesdays and Thursdays, along with 1 weekend day each month. If you know that I’m your gal (fingers crossed!), I recommend doing so as soon as possible so that you can reserve the date that works best for you.
Planning on sharing your amazing images as a gift? I recommend booking your photoshoot no sooner than 4 months before you’ll be gifting them.
You can book your photoshoot by going to the Brava Boudoir website.
Once your boudoir photoshoot is scheduled, it’s time to start getting ready. If you’re unsure where to begin, I’ve put together this boudoir shoot prep guide that will tell you everything you need to know about preparing for your upcoming shoot. It shares what you should be doing in the weeks before your shoot, the week of your shoot, the day before your shoot, and the morning of your shoot.
Once you arrive at the studio, get ready for an incredible time! After all, today is all about you! First, you’ll be introduced to your makeup artist and hair stylist while sipping on a cold glass of champagne. Next, we’ll work together to find the perfect styles for your shoot. Based on your style, vibe and personality, I’ll be sure to make sure we utilize the perfect sets (we have a bunch!) throughout the studio. After you’re in full glam (and are feeling like the queen that you are), it’s time for your photoshoot!
Now it’s time for the big reveal! A few days after your shoot, I will send you some teaser images so that you can get a sneak peek of what’s to come. Then, you can expect your photos to be edited about 3 weeks after your photoshoot. Once the editing process is complete, you’ll return to the studio to review your images together and pick out your faves! We can discuss your printing options, as well as some of the fun extras that you can consider to feature your new art. I’ll even design your custom album right there with you!
I am so excited to get in the studio with you so that you can see how empowering boudoir photoshoots are. If you’re thinking about booking a boudoir shoot with Brava Boudoir but have some questions first, I suggest you set up a consult. I look forward to hearing from you!
