I loooove creative photoshoots. Each year I dream up different ways to capture images outside my comfortable “norm” and cross my fingers for an inquiry of that exact nature to dance into my inbox. As a boudoir photographer, capturing the essence of sensuality, confidence, and beauty is an art. Here are ten tantalizing boudoir photoshoot ideas that are on my 2024 bucket list.
Vintage Red Truck (I have one!!) Pin Up Girl Style
Channel the retro charm of the 1950s with a fun pin-up-inspired photoshoot with either my truck or yours! High-waisted lingerie, polka dots, and playful poses with a dash of nostalgia and sass….hellz yes! End the session with a sudsy tin bucket and mustard yellow sponge and I’m literally in boudoir heaven.
Hot Rod + Heels
Have a hot rod? Maybe your SO has one they’ve been working on restoring? Let’s bust that bad boy out and stick your bootay on the fender! We can keep it country at The Brava Studio or go urban with 2 of my fave rooftop parking garage locations. Depending on the time of year, early morning sunrise or afternoon sunset will be ideal.
Don’t Mess With My Motorcycle
I see you bad-ass biker babe and I’m here to capture the strength and confidence you embody when you saddle up! I’m picturing smoke machines, smoke bombs, lots of leather, ripped t-shirts, tank tops and bootay shorts. Bring your vision to me and let’s make it come to life babe!
Honey Bodyscape
It’s exactly what you’re picturing. Think “wet set” but with honey. Dripping on bare skin, sassy detail shots, play with shadows and silhouettes to create alluring and artistic compositions gives this concept added depth and mystery. It’s a level up to our traditional bodyscape art for sure!
A Bride’s Morning
Let’s face it…it would be impossible to capture all the beauty and powerful feminine moments of you getting wedding day glammed on your actual wedding day. I’m looking to set a slower tone, utilizing the same space you’ll be getting ready (or even a stunning hotel/venue bridal suite) to capture you with your gown. The opportunity for soft, feminine detail shots is literally torturing me!
Sunset Lake (or river)
Hair flips, slow ripples on a quiet glassy lake, wet hair draping across your face…you get the picture. It takes our traditional wet set to a whole new level and defiantly blows our boudoir rain room to pieces. I’m searching high and low to find private water spots the fulfill this dream so if you have one, please for the love of all things amazing, hit me up lady!
Destination Anywhere
Did you know that I travel to you if you come a callin’? That’s right babe! If my Wisconsin boudoir studio just isn’t for you then let’s talk about what is! Is it a secluded beach in Costa Rica for an ocean shoot? The desert or amazing Red Rocks in Las Vegas? The lush mountains in California? How about a cabin among the rolling forests in North Carolina? This travel junkie has waaaaay too many destination shoot ideas and I could always use a new travel buddy to create art with!

Yes, I’m talking to you Ms. “when I loose blablabla pounds” or “boudoir isn’t for women shaped like me”. I’m coming for you! It’s time you allow yourself to celebrate your body surrounded by positivity by focusing on your natural beauty. Arizona Desert Boudoir
I travel to the Phoenix area every spring to visit family for 2-3 weeks annually. I always set aside time for photoshoots but we’ve never ventured out into the desert at sunrise. I’m ready to change that! Think flowy lace robes, hippie vibes, red rocks and artful landscape shots with your bootay accented along the skyline. Yes please!
